Hold ’Em League Tournament Rules
Entry Fee: $100 paid to Steve or Tori by March 1st. There is a limit
of 27 players.
Five monthly tournaments will be played on March 17th (Hammil house),
March 31st (Clark house), April 14th (Hammil), April 28th (Clark)
and May 12th (Hammil) at 7:00 pm. The final tournament will be on
June 2nd at the Clark house. Each tournament will also have a $25
entry fee payable that night in the same ratio as the tournament.
Points will be awarded each tournament from the bottom up, giving
with the first person out 1 point, the second will get 2 points and
so on.
Best 4 out of 5 scores will be used.
If you cannot play a tournament, you can get an alternate to play
for you. One will not be provided.
If you are going to be late for an event and you call ahead, you can
be blinded in for the first 30 minutes. If you don’t show up, your
chips will be removed from the table and points will be awarded accordingly.
You’ll get $3500 in chips for each of the first 5 tournaments.
Time can be called on any player. Time given will be 1 minute.
Blinds will start at $25/$50, going up every 30 minutes till 10:30.
At 10:30 the blinds will double.
One-half of the prize money will be awarded on May 12th in the amounts:
1st ~ 50% = $600
2nd ~ 30% = $360
3rd ~ 20% = $240
4th ~ Double Money Back = $200
5th ~ Money Back = $100
The other half will be awarded at the Championship Tournament on June
2nd with the same payout as above.
Chips for the June 2nd event will be awarded based on points from
previous 4 out of 5 tournaments: Last place in points gets $1000,
next to last gets $1200, with each higher position being paid $200
more than the previous.
In the event of a problem, the Rule Committee’s decision will be final.
